Wow nice to see this colourful bird. Good eye contact. The vertical stalk divides the image in two halves, so it is a bit difficult to compose. Maybe you could have tried to move the camera a bit more to the right, to have less space on the left. Thanks for sharing.

The focus looks to have been locked a bit ahead of the bird. Due to the composition, our attention is drawn to the left top corner. So less space at the left would be better. Did you click this in vertical or horizontal?
