Nice moment freezed with the kingfisher about to catch the insect. The focus seems to be locked on the wires. Wish it was closer to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

Tough to focus when the subject is so far. To get good images of kinfisher, it is better to find a perch close to water. At times one can find a bamboo pole, branch etc close to water. This helps as an ideal look out place for them and they come back to this perch after catching a fish. Waiting in such spots helps.
