Its nice you got it in good light. The eye is just visible, moving a bit lower if possible would have enhanced the eye contact further. The composition looks fine. Due to the high ISO, there is noise in the background. You can use Av mode and set the ISO to 400 in normal light and then check the aperture as required. Thanks for sharing.

I think a vertical composition would have helped in getting the complete tail. It is good that you got a catchlight in the eye. Lifting the shadows a bit will be better. Reducing the saturation a bit will be good. Thanks for sharing.
