Very interesting question. Nice collection.
Both the stags carry antlers having almost similar type and size. However, the shape of brow tine varies considerably and I think, the smaller stag (Right)) is more likely to cause deep wound on the other stag in a flash fight.

Beautiful composition.
Maybe a higher ISO could have been experimented with.
The direct stare into the camera by both the animals adds to the picture.

I think they got alerted due to the arrival of the vehicle in the scene and had taken a pause from sparring. Some of them get injured as well as end up with broken antlers. I wonder how much pain they can endure.

Nice compo, the antlers of the one on the left still seems to be in velvet.
