Good Composition. Would like to see a bit more sharpness and opening of the shadows...

Lovely bird. An off-centre composition would have strengthened the image further. There is some noise in the image. If you upload a larger size image, then the software resizes it. So upload only 800*600 size images.

Thanks for the detailed information. Keep posting..

    Hi Aditya,

The image is not sharp, is it a large crop? Agree about the shadows.

    Aditya,
I like the information and the low angle of the shot. Scientific name: Pitta brachyura

Which software do you use? Photoshop?

I would like to know how you are resizing your images.

The ISO 1600 has given you some noise. I would open up the shadows, so that the eye portion is prominent. I would have left some more space at the bottom, so that the feet was not cut. I would tone down the bright spot behind the bird. A bit more sharpening would be good.

Are you saving again and again on the same jpeg? That causes loss in quality.

Look forward to other shots of this species.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
