Nice image. It is sad that these snares remain with these animals. when i was in Rourkela in Orissa, once a leopard had got caught in a snare near a village. Animal rescue arrived 48 hours later and by that time, the wire had cut into its skin around its waist... they took it to an animal hospital. Dont know what happened of it, but it was in a pretty bad shape... hungry, exhausted and irritated with all the people arnd for 48 hrs...
