This image is of the Common Castor butterfly (Ariadne merione). Beautiful pattern on their wings !
This bright orange butterfly gets its name because the larve of this butterfly feed almost exclusively on the Castor Oil plant. The Angled Castor is very similar in appearance but the wavy lines are less dense.
How I wish I had got a front angle shot of this beauty. The 5.3 fps of my 60 D certainly helped since she obliged me with only a 2 second audience.
