I had photographed this tiger cub in Bandhavgarh National Park. The tigress and cubs were in the grassland. The tigress was having her siesta after a meal. She was about 30 -35 feet away, but hardly visible due to the thick grass. The cubs were playing at times were visible. This was one such moment, when I got the head in the clear. Ofcourse, I used manual focus.
Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII, ISO 800, f5.6, 1/320, full frame.
Cheers,
